Pipperilli's Café

Delightful cafe that deserves more attention. We stopped in the day before Mother's Day as we are thinking about moving to Oakleigh. This was the highlight of our day and we will be back! Service is absolutely top-notch and extremely welcoming. Not to mention accommodating. We have a child that eats everything with mayo and they were more than happy to swap the sauces out for her. The little hidden dining area out near the chef/s is adorable and quaint. Low music in the background and lovely lighting make for the perfect dining experience. Let's not forget the food. The food was divine, quality is fantastic and my god, the poached eggs are AMAZING. Our plates were presented beautifully and hit the spot in every way. It was exactly what I wanted without even knowing it when we walked in. I've eaten a lot of poached eggs and this cafe has by FAR the best poached eggs and you can feel the mother's love behind the cooking. To say I recommend this place is an understatement. I implore you to visit and experience for yourself.

Good all round suburban cafe. Coffee and food is great! If your passing through stop in, you won’t be disappointed

Lovely family run cafe, a short walk from Oakleigh Station. I was after a good cooked breakfast on a cold Melbourne morning and got exactly what I wanted. Eggs Benny were great, good portion and even came with a bowl of fruit. All that for $16. Where can you get that these days? If you are in the area, please try this cafe.

Drove from Sandringham to have a business meeting here. Perfect plenty of room great atmosphere quiet.(no loud music or super busy). I would just say give yourself a few minutes extra as parking is at a premium opposite Oakleigh station. I chose the cafe because of welcoming frontage and flowerboxes and coffee ratings. It looked loved. Anyhow, service, food, and pricing were brilliant. Food is fresh, well presented, and like $18 for a tasty breakfast prepared by mum and dad.( family). Coffee was fantastic (got a takeaway for the road) and great friendly service. We were there an hour and a half, no problem. Will be back for sure! Highly recommend.

This is a really nice, small breakfast place with a lot of outdoor sitting. It’s on the quieter side of Oakleigh so it’s really peaceful. I got the Haughton’s special for $16. I got it with smoked salmon and poached eggs. It’s really tasty. The salmon is amazing, has a really nice flavour and texture to it. The eggs are perfectly cooked, really runny eggs that go well with their amazing bread too. The bread has a firm crust but a nice soft centre so it’s easy to eat and not gonna scrape your mouth. The sauce they have was really good too, has a slight sour tinge to it. When mixing everything into one bite, there’s a nice smooth flavour with the variety of textures. The fruits are really good too, came with mango, pineapple, and watermelon. Overall, if you’re looking for a great breakfast place, I recommend giving this a go.
